Adina Apartment Hotel Melbourne Overview

First Impressions

Walking into Adina Apartment Hotel Melbourne on Queen Street, you immediately get that “oh, this is nice” feeling. The lobby has this modern Australian vibe that doesn’t try too hard — clean lines, warm timber touches, and staff who actually seem happy to see you. I mean, it’s a five-star property, so you’d expect quality, but there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the whole place that sets it apart from some of the stuffier luxury hotels in Melbourne.

Location & Neighborhood

Honestly, the location is pretty much perfect if you want to be in the thick of things. You’re literally steps from the Queen Victoria Market — and I’m talking about a two-minute walk, not some marketing exaggeration. Collins Street shopping is right there, and you can easily stroll to Chinatown or catch a tram to anywhere else you need to go. The couples who stay here absolutely love it (apparently they rate the location 9.2 out of 10), and I totally get why — you can walk to dinner, walk to coffee, walk to shopping, then stumble back to your apartment without dealing with taxis or public transport.

The Apartment Experience

What really makes this place special is that you’re not staying in just another hotel room — these are proper apartments with full kitchens. The kitchen setup is actually functional too, not one of those token mini-fridges with a microwave. You’ve got a proper stovetop, dishwasher, and enough space to cook if you want to grab some fresh produce from Queen Vic Market. The living areas feel spacious and lived-in rather than sterile, which is perfect when you’re staying for more than just a night or two.

Amenities & Services

The luxury touches are there without being overwhelming — think quality linens, marble bathrooms, and that satisfying feeling when everything just works properly. There’s a fitness center that’s well-equipped (not just a couple of sad treadmills), and the spa treatments are worth booking if you’re feeling indulgent. What I really appreciated was the parking situation — they’ve got on-site parking, which honestly saves you a massive headache in this part of the city. Street parking around Queen Street can be a nightmare, so having that sorted is huge.

Why Guests Love It

You know what really sells this place? It’s that perfect balance between luxury and practicality. The restaurant downstairs does solid modern Australian food, but you also have the option to cook your own meals or order takeaway and eat it in your apartment like a normal human being. Business travelers love the space and location, couples appreciate the romantic city views and walkable neighborhood, and honestly, anyone who’s tired of cramped hotel rooms will find the extra space refreshing. The 8.3 rating feels about right — it’s genuinely excellent without being perfect, and sometimes that’s exactly what you want.

Amazing service when we checked in, they upgraded us to twin room penthouse and for my best friend and gave us a complimentary wine. Best weekend ever. I thank you very much Adina

Perfect location. Spacious apartment with all that we needed.

  • Ine from Belgium (8/10)

Great location, very comfortable king-sized bed, very helpful staff, great gym. The staff helped us to switch to another apartment when the first one was quite noisy because of constructions going on close to the building, which we really appreciated. The apartment was very comfortable for a longer-term stay (two weeks). Great airconditioning. Would recommend!
