Adina Apartment Hotel Melbourne Southbank Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Adina Apartment Hotel Melbourne Southbank, you immediately get that “this is exactly what I needed” feeling. It’s one of those places that just makes sense — especially if you’re planning to stay more than a night or two in Melbourne. The lobby has this relaxed, residential vibe that tells you right away this isn’t your typical hotel experience. You know what I mean? It feels more like you’re checking into a really nice apartment building where you actually want to spend time.
The Southbank Advantage
Honestly, the location is pretty much perfect. You’re right on City Road, which means you can walk to the CBD in about ten minutes, but you’re also steps away from the Yarra River and all those riverside walking paths. I actually love how couples seem to gravitate toward this area — there’s something romantic about being so close to the water while still being in the heart of everything. The Crown Casino complex is practically next door if that’s your thing, and getting to Flinders Street Station is just a quick stroll across the bridge.
Living Space That Actually Works
Here’s where this four-star property really shines — the room setups are genuinely practical. Each unit comes with a proper kitchen, which is a game-changer if you’re staying for business or just want the option to grab groceries from the nearby South Melbourne Market. The living areas don’t feel cramped like some apartment hotels do, and there’s actually enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling like you’re living out of a suitcase. The beds are comfortable too — I mean, that sounds basic, but you’d be surprised how many places get that wrong.
Amenities Worth Mentioning
The building has a decent gym and a sauna that’s actually worth using, plus there’s parking available which, let’s be honest, is pretty essential in this part of Melbourne. What I really appreciate is the rooftop terrace — it’s not huge or fancy, but it gives you those city views that remind you why you came to Melbourne in the first place. The staff runs a pretty tight ship too, and they seem to know the neighborhood well enough to give you solid recommendations beyond the obvious tourist spots.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this place works because it gives you the best of both worlds — hotel services when you want them, but the independence of having your own space. The restaurant downstairs is solid for when you can’t be bothered cooking, but having that kitchen means you’re not stuck eating out every meal. Plus, being this close to everything that matters in Melbourne without the chaos of staying right in the thick of Collins Street or Bourke Street? That’s the sweet spot, honestly. It’s the kind of place where you can actually settle in and feel like you’re living in the city rather than just visiting it.
Savvy travelers reserve a hotel in Melbourne before White Night festivals bathe the skyline in art projections.

The location was close to southbank. There are few places for breakfast close by, you have to walk a few blocks. Again there are many restaurants within a few block walk but there is only one restaurant close by. It was an Italian Restaurant.

The location to the city, south bank promenade and restaurants and public transportation was perfect, all were in a very short walking distance from the property location.
