Breathtaking views – Spacious 2BR Ensuite in Heart of CBD Overview
You know, when I first rolled up to 370 Queen Street in Melbourne’s CBD, I was already half-exhausted from dodging the trams on Elizabeth Street – those things are everywhere, clanging away like they’re auditioning for a symphony. But stepping into this place, officially called Breathtaking Views – Spacious 2BR Ensuite, well, it sort of resets your whole vibe. It’s tucked right in the thick of things, just a stone’s throw from the Queen Victoria Market where you can snag fresh produce or those killer doughnuts on a Saturday morning. I mean, honestly, if you’re like me and love wandering out for a flat white without planning your life around it, this spot’s a dream. The building itself has that modern apartment feel – not some sterile hotel chain, but more like crashing at a friend’s upscale pad. Check-in was a breeze; I arrived around midday during peak tourist season (think summer, when the city’s buzzing with festivals), and the host handed over the keys with zero fuss, even tipping me off about the best nearby parking garage on Little Lonsdale, because let’s face it, street parking in the CBD is a nightmare unless you’re up at dawn.
What really hooked me, though, was the room itself – this spacious two-bedroom ensuite that lives up to its name with views that, I swear, make you pause mid-sentence. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the skyline, catching the sun glinting off the Eureka Tower and maybe a glimpse of the Yarra if you crane your neck just right. It’s got that airy, open-plan layout with a kitchenette that’s actually functional (I whipped up brekkie one morning using herbs from the market – fresh basil smells amazing in there), and the beds are plush enough to sink into after a day traipsing around. Sensory-wise, it’s quiet inside despite the street noise filtering up – those double-glazed windows do their job, though you might hear the occasional tram bell or chatter from the laneway cafes below, especially around lunchtime when Hardware Lane turns into a foodie hotspot. Oh, and the ensuite bathroom? Generous with rainfall showers that feel like a mini spa – perfect for washing off the grit from exploring places like Federation Square, which is literally a 10-minute stroll away. One minor gripe: the Wi-Fi can be spotty during evenings when everyone’s streaming, but hey, that’s Melbourne for you – forces you to unplug and hit up a local bar instead.
All in all, if you’re heading to Melbourne and want that balance of city immersion without feeling crammed in, this 4-star gem (rated a solid 8.5, which feels spot-on) is worth it. It’s ideal for couples or small families who need space to spread out – my partner and I used the second bedroom as a chill zone after long days – and at that price point, it beats squeezing into a tiny hotel room elsewhere in the CBD. Just pack earplugs if you’re a light sleeper, or embrace the urban hum; either way, you’ll leave feeling like you’ve truly lived the Melbourne life, you know?

Great location. Beautiful views, clean and family friendly apartment. Our new favourite accommodation for our Melbourne trips. Security key/fob required, so very secure building. 10/10 recommend for families, or someone wanting a good location close to everything in the cbd! The Queen Vic markets are a 2 min walking.

My daughter and I absolutely loved the view from our ensuite not to mention how it had everything you could possibly need

The hosts went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was exceptional. Speaking to me in person and over message to provide updates.
Excellent communication from the host at all points in time, with clear instructions on how to pickup/return the keys and other details.
The kitchen is well stocked with basic equipment, and the rooms/bathrooms were clean and well decorated.
Most of all, the view was certainly breathtaking, and the location was conveniently central to all of my activities.
I will absolutely stay here again.Ly from Australia (8/10)
