I spent a good chunk of time out there, honestly, overlooking the treetops toward Merri Creek (which is just a short walk away if you fancy a jog or a picnic – locals love that trail for its hidden spots along the water). The apartment itself feels fresh, with that new-build smell still lingering a bit – smooth wooden floors underfoot, a kitchen that’s kitted out with decent appliances (though, well, it could use a few more pots if you’re planning to cook up a storm). The bedroom’s comfy, queen bed with those hotel-quality linens that don’t wrinkle, and the bathroom’s got a rain shower that actually has good pressure, not the dribble you sometimes get in older Melbourne pads. It’s rated 9.5 for a reason, you know? Sort of ideal for a solo traveler or a couple – I was there in spring, when the Edinburgh Gardens nearby are blooming and the cafes on Queens Parade are buzzing, but it’s quiet enough at night that you sleep like a baby.   The location was very good for us being a short walk to our relatives and being a 1 minute walk to the tram stop taking us into Melbourne. The Piedemonte supermarket is not too far away along with restaurants and take aways. The Merri Creek was also a short walk, a lovely place to walk especially up to Ceres which has a lovely cafe. The back roads ere nice to walk around.
  The apartment was comfortable, and the building lovely and clean with a nice aspect at the back. There was parking if we needed it. if there were any queries, the accommodation agency were very quick to respond and very helpful.
  
  What could be improved: There was some noise at night time from the road outside. This tended to quieten during the night.
