  Richmond is a nice area to stay at during your trip to Melbourne (if you prefere to stay in less crowded areas, away from the CBD and more into were locals hang out). It hasa lot of restaurants, bars, etc.
  The Apartments were well located in rochmond. It was very well cared for. Facilities seemed pretty new. The room had a considerable size, with a balcony. Very nice natural lightning (with nice shades to keep light out in early morning). Quiet.
  We did not use the kitchenet, but it seemed very well sorted of apliances.
