Cloud Nine with Pool Gym and inner city parking for two cars Overview
I remember pulling up to Cloud Nine on a drizzly Melbourne afternoon – you know, the kind where the sky can’t decide if it’s going to pour or just tease you with mist. The place is tucked away in that bustling pocket of the CBD, right near the edge of Flagstaff Gardens, where you can actually hear the distant rumble of trams clattering down Elizabeth Street without it being right in your face. Honestly, finding inner-city parking in Melbourne is like winning the lottery, especially if you’re hauling luggage or coming in from the airport via the Tullamarine Freeway – but this spot comes with spots for two cars, which saved me from circling blocks like a lost tourist. Check-in was a breeze; the staff were these laid-back locals who chatted about the best nearby coffee spots (pro tip: head to the little laneway cafes off Little Bourke for a flat white that doesn’t taste like regret). The lobby has this cozy vibe, with plush armchairs that smell faintly of fresh linen and eucalyptus – sort of like they’ve bottled that Aussie freshness.
What really sets Cloud Nine apart, though, is how it balances that urban buzz with actual relaxation spots. The pool – oh man, it’s heated, which is a godsend during those unpredictable winter months when Melbourne decides to drop to single digits overnight. I spent a morning there, the water warm and inviting, with views out to the city skyline that make you forget you’re smack in the middle of it all. The gym’s no slouch either; it’s got decent equipment, like those adjustable weights and ellipticals that don’t squeak annoyingly, and it’s quiet enough in the early hours that you can hear your own playlist without blasting it. Rooms are spacious for a 4-star joint – mine had a king bed with sheets that felt like clouds (fitting the name, I guess), and a balcony overlooking the gardens where you could sip a morning tea and watch joggers dodging pigeons. Well, minor gripe: the pool area can get a bit crowded in peak summer, especially around January when everyone’s escaping the heat or post-Australian Open crowds flood the city – but hey, that’s Melbourne for you, always lively. And parking for two? That’s huge if you’re road-tripping with mates or family; no more stressing about meters or those sneaky fines on King Street.
All in all, if you’re after a spot that’s got that high rating (9.4 isn’t hype – it’s earned) without feeling pretentious, Cloud Nine’s your go-to. It’s perfect for folks who want to dip into the Queen Vic Market for fresh produce on weekends or wander to Federation Square for events, but still retreat to somewhere comfy. I mean, I’ve stayed in fancier places, but this one just feels right – practical, welcoming, and with those little touches that make a trip memorable. Book it during the quieter shoulder seasons like spring, and you’ll thank me later.

Reviews of Cloud Nine with Pool Gym and inner city parking for two cars
Very good – Emma from Australia – 24 June 2025 (8/10)
The location is very central and close to public transport. The apartment is spacious, modern and clean. The decor is lovely and esthetically pleasing. Hosts were lovely to deal with. Overall a great stay!
What could be improved: The key drop off is not very convenient or easy to navigate on maps.
I was unable to find any washing powder in the laundry and we had to purchase more toilet rolls. I believe these things should be included (or more provided) in the apartment as an essential item.
The portacot provided was not a full size cot. Meaning my 2 year old was unable to sleep in it. It is more of a travel cot (large bassinet size).Fabulous Holiday Stay in Melbourne – Wendy from Australia – 30 May 2025 (8/10)
Fabulous location. 3 bedrooms were all neat and tidy and the kitchen and living room were a great size for 3 of us!
What could be improved: Only a few little things that were dealt with by the hosts. Lighting was a little bit dim in the main bedroom to read by during the night.Fantastic stay in this apartment and will definitely seek to stay here again next time we’re in Melbourne. – Rose from Australia – 24 April 2025 (10/10)
It was luxurious, very clean, well equipped with everything you need from the kitchen to the bathrooms, great size, fantastic views with balcony and easy access from the carparks provided to the apartment. The beds were all comfortable and very clean. Location was great as well with tram stops just downstairs and close to grocery stores.
What could be improved: Nothing at all.Exceptional – Kylie from Australia – 5 March 2025 (10/10)
Great location, absolutely beautiful big apartment very clean and hosts extremely helpful.
What could be improved: GPS doesnt take you to the key pickup location so that was a bit confusing when coming in at nightAll you could ever need while staying away. – Daniel from Australia – 2 January 2025 (10/10)
The Property felt quite large and had so many little hidden features utilising space very well. Had all the Amenities you could need and was a really cosy comfortable place. Big balcony with great views, Can even see the ocean and was perfect for watching the new years fireworks.
What could be improved: The only problem we ran into was with a bathroom door that u did have to struggle a little to close. But did not cause any inconvenience.Clean spacious and comfortable – John from Australia – 1 November 2024 (10/10)
The services the space and the clean facility was amazing with a great view and ideally located to marvel stadium and Trams
A luxury apartment, comfortable for up to 6 people, close to transport and food options. – Justine from Australia – 21 May 2025 (9/10)
The apartment itself was very nice. Comfortable beds, well-appointed kitchen appliances, toiletries and great view. We didn't use the pool or spa but they looked very good. We would stay here again in future.
What could be improved: Being opposite a large train station, we were awoken by the train whistles blowing between 5:30am and midnight, but ear plugs fixed this issue.Exceptional – Caz from Australia – 20 November 2024 (10/10)
