The building itself is this modern, understated block with a botanical vibe – think potted palms in the entryway and big windows letting in that soft Aussie light. Look, if you’re after that authentic Melbourne bayside life without the tourist traps, this place is a gem – especially in shoulder seasons like spring when the botanical gardens nearby are blooming and the crowds thin out. You’d be hard-pressed to find better value in Elwood; it’s the kind of apartment that makes you linger a bit longer, maybe extend your trip just to squeeze in one more sunrise walk along the sand.
