High Rise Southbank Luxury Apt (50th floor) Overview

First Impressions

You know what hits you first about High Rise Southbank Luxury Apt (50th floor)? It’s not just the name — you’re actually staying on the 50th floor, and honestly, the views are pretty spectacular. I mean, when you step into this four-star apartment in Melbourne‘s Southbank district, you immediately understand why it has such high ratings. The elevator ride up feels like forever, but in a good way — you’re building anticipation for what’s waiting at the top.

The Apartment Experience

This isn’t your typical hotel room situation — you’re getting a proper apartment setup with a full kitchen that actually makes sense to use. The space feels modern without being sterile, and there’s something satisfying about having real counter space and a proper fridge. What I really appreciated was how the layout flows naturally — you’re not bumping into furniture or dealing with that cramped hotel feeling. The windows are floor-to-ceiling, which means you’re getting those city views from pretty much everywhere in the space.

Location & Neighborhood

Southbank is honestly one of those areas where you feel like you’re in the real Melbourne — not some tourist bubble. You’re right along the Yarra River, and Crown Casino is basically next door if that’s your thing. The arts precinct is an easy walk, and getting into the CBD is just a quick trip across one of the bridges. I found myself walking everywhere because the location really is that central. The area has this nice mix of locals and visitors, so you get good people-watching from your perch up on the 50th floor.

The Views and Atmosphere

Let’s be real — the main draw here is being up so high with unobstructed views of Melbourne’s skyline. During the day, you can see all the way out to the bay on clear days, and at night the city lights create this pretty amazing backdrop. The apartment stays surprisingly quiet despite being in such a busy area — I guess being 50 floors up has its advantages. There’s something almost meditative about watching the city move below you, especially with a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening.

Why Guests Love It

Couples seem to really get what this place offers — there’s something romantic about having your own private space high above the city. The combination of the apartment-style setup with hotel-level service works well, especially if you’re staying for more than just a night or two. You get the independence of having your own space and kitchen, but you’re still in the heart of everything Melbourne has to offer. The location score speaks for itself — when you can walk to the river, the arts district, and the CBD without breaking a sweat, you know you’ve picked well.
