High rise top view 2bed2bath Overview
I remember pulling up to the High Rise Top View 2Bed2Bath on Queen Street – you know, that bustling stretch right in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, where the trams clang by every few minutes and the air smells like fresh coffee from those little laneway cafes. It’s at 370 Queen Street, smack dab in postcode 3000, and honestly, finding parking was a bit of a hassle – I mean, it’s the city, so expect to circle a block or two, or just ditch the car at the nearby Wilson lot on Little Bourke and walk the five minutes over. But once I stepped into the lobby, which is more like a sleek apartment building entrance than some grand hotel foyer, the check-in was a breeze. The staff were these laid-back Aussies who handed over the keycard with a quick chat about the best spots for brekkie – they tipped me off to the Queen Victoria Market just a short stroll north, where you can grab killer fresh produce or those famous hot jam doughnuts if you’re there early on a weekend.
What really sold me on this place – it’s a solid 4-star setup with an 8.7 rating that feels earned – was the apartment itself. We’re talking a high-rise perch (I was on the 15th floor, I think) with these massive windows framing killer views over the city skyline, all the way to the Yarra River on a clear day. The two-bedroom, two-bath layout is perfect if you’re traveling with mates or family – one room has this super comfy king bed that I sank into after a long day wandering, and the other a queen with crisp linens that didn’t feel too hotel-sterile, you know? There’s a full kitchen – well, sort of a kitchenette, but stocked with decent appliances so I whipped up a quick pasta using stuff from the market. The bathrooms are modern, with those rainfall showers that actually have good pressure, though the water did take a minute to heat up in the mornings. Noise-wise, it’s the CBD, so you’ll hear the occasional siren or tram rumble, especially if your windows face Queen Street, but it quiets down after 10 PM, and the double glazing helps a ton. Oh, and during peak season like summer or the Australian Open in January, book early because it fills up fast with folks wanting that central spot – you’re literally steps from Flagstaff Gardens for a green escape, or Hardware Lane for those tucked-away Italian spots where the pasta smells waft through the air.
All in all, if you’re after a homey vibe in the thick of Melbourne without breaking the bank, this is your spot – it’s not flawless (the Wi-Fi lagged a bit during evenings, probably from everyone streaming), but the views and location make up for it. I’d go back in a heartbeat, especially for a longer stay; just pack earplugs if you’re a light sleeper, and hit up the rooftop terrace at sunset – trust me, watching the city lights flicker on while sipping a local craft beer is one of those little Melbourne moments that stick with you.

Great property! We liked it so much that we booked it again when we came back to Melbourne. Owner or staff who communicates with the guest is quite responsive and kind. It is clean, well located, new and safe.
Only suggestion would be to give maybe more than one key and pass especially since this apartment is for up to 4 people. When we go out it would be nice to be able to come back separately or not have to go down to fetch other members of the group to go up the lift! But this is a minor thing. Aside from this, all great for us!Fiona from Australia (8/10)
Location was excellent within walking distance to tram stops, shopping, Southern Cross Station; incredible views of the city from 55 th floor, secure, very clean and well appointed. Very accommodating staff. Shaun met us early on arrival and stored our luggage until check in.

Amazing views and great apartment!

We enjoyed our four day stay here. Location is easy access to all that Melbourne CBD has to offer. Only a few minutes walk to Queen Victoria Markets, cafes and restaurants. Bourke street shops are about a 10 minute walk. It's a quiet place, clean, air conditioner works, and the apartment is secure. Loved having Woolworths right next door (which is open until midnight). Will stay here again next time we're in Melbourne.
