Hotel Description
I remember pulling up to the Luxury Melbourne 4 Bed Apt on Queens Road – you know, that stretch right near Albert Park Lake where the joggers are out early and the air smells like fresh eucalyptus from the nearby trees. It’s not some flashy high-rise; honestly, it’s more like one of those solid apartment blocks that blend into the neighborhood, but with that understated vibe that makes you feel like you’re crashing at a friend’s place rather than a sterile hotel. I mean, the parking spot included was a godsend – trying to find street parking around here during peak hours, especially when the Grand Prix is on in March, is a nightmare. We rolled in around dusk, and check-in was straightforward, just a quick code for the door, no fussing with a front desk. The place is rated a 7.3, which feels about right – it’s not perfect, but for a 4-star setup, it punches above its weight for groups or families needing space.
What really sold me was sinking into that massive living area after a day wandering the Royal Botanic Gardens, which are literally a short stroll away – cross over to St Kilda Road and you’re there, dodging the trams that rattle by every few minutes. The apartment’s got four bedrooms, all kitted out with comfy beds (though the pillows were a bit on the flat side, if I’m being picky), and a kitchen that’s actually functional – we whipped up brekkie with eggs from the IGA down the road, saving a ton on eating out. Oh, and the pool? It’s this tucked-away gem on the rooftop, nothing huge, but perfect for a dip to shake off Melbourne’s humid afternoons. You can hear the distant hum of traffic from Queens Road – it’s not dead quiet, especially in the mornings when commuters zip by – but the views over the park make up for it, with that golden light filtering through the gums at sunset. Well, sort of – on rainy days, which hit hard in winter, it feels cozier inside, curled up with the heater on and the city skyline peeking through the windows. Little touches like the free Wi-Fi that didn’t glitch once (unlike some spots I’ve stayed) and the balcony where we sipped coffee, watching birds swoop over the lake, made it feel lived-in, you know?
Look, if you’re heading to Melbourne with a crew – say, mates for the footy season or a family dodging the crowds in the CBD – this place is a smart pick. It’s close enough to hop on a tram to Flinders Street or even walk to the Shrine of Remembrance for those reflective moments, but far enough from the tourist chaos that you can actually unwind. Sure, the decor’s a tad dated in spots, like the bathroom tiles screaming ’90s, but for the price and that included parking in a city where spots are gold, it’s worth it. I’d go back in a heartbeat, especially in spring when the parks are blooming and the whole area just buzzes with that laid-back Melbourne energy.

Well equipped item
What could be improved: Too dusty. Seem like there is no cleaning before our stay. The air con is not working well in one of the room and even we call them they say they will come and fixed it but they didn’t comeExceptional – Michael from Monaco – 18 March 2025 (10/10)
Superb – Germaine from Singapore – 28 June 2025 (9/10)
