Melbourne Luxury – Pool, Gym, Views & Free Parking Overview
I remember pulling up to Melbourne Luxury on Bourke Street – you know, that bustling stretch right in the heart of the CBD, just a stone’s throw from Southern Cross Station. Honestly, after navigating the one-way streets and dodging trams during peak hour (which, let’s face it, is basically all day in Melbourne), finding free parking in their secure underground lot felt like winning the lottery. No more circling blocks or shelling out for those pricey city garages – it’s included, and that’s a godsend if you’re road-tripping from the airport or exploring the Yarra Valley on a day trip. The building itself has that sleek, modern vibe without trying too hard, sort of like a taller version of those converted warehouses in nearby Docklands. Check-in was a breeze; the staff were friendly Aussies who chatted about the best coffee spots – try Auction Rooms just a short walk away on Errol Street, if you’re into that flat white life. But fair warning, if you’re arriving late, the lobby can get a bit echoey with the after-work crowd spilling in from the bars on Little Bourke.
What really sold me on this place, though – and I stayed for a week last spring, during that weirdly sunny spell before the winter chill hits – were the views and the amenities that actually make you want to linger. My room on the higher floors overlooked the city skyline, with glimpses of the Etihad Stadium lights twinkling at night (or Marvel Stadium, whatever they’re calling it now). It was peaceful up there, surprisingly, despite the street noise filtering up from Bourke – earplugs helped on those rowdier Friday nights when the footy fans are out. The pool on the rooftop is a highlight; it’s heated, which is clutch in Melbourne’s unpredictable weather, and I spent a couple of afternoons just floating around, listening to the distant hum of trams and smelling that fresh eucalyptus scent that wafts in from the nearby parks. The gym’s solid too – not massive, but equipped with free weights and treadmills that actually work, plus towels that don’t feel like sandpaper. Rooms are comfy, with those plush beds and kitchenettes that come in handy for whipping up brekkie from Queen Victoria Market goodies (it’s only a 15-minute stroll north). Oh, and the Wi-Fi’s reliable, which mattered for my remote work calls – no dropouts, even during busy evenings.
All in all, if you’re after a 4-star spot that’s more than just a bed in the city, Melbourne Luxury nails it for the price – that 8.4 rating feels spot-on, I mean, it’s not flawless (the breakfast buffet could use more variety, honestly, and the elevators get jammed during checkout rushes), but it’s the little things like those skyline sunsets and the free parking that make it memorable. I’d go back in a heartbeat, especially if you’re mixing business with some laneway exploring or catching a show at the nearby theaters. Just book ahead in summer; it fills up fast with the festival crowds.
To visit Melbourne during the pleasant autumn season from March to May, travelers should plan ahead as this cultural capital attracts millions of visitors seeking world-class coffee culture, vibrant street art, and exceptional culinary experiences.

Reviews of Melbourne Luxury – Pool, Gym, Views & Free Parking
Excellent location super clean – Lesley from Australia – 18 May 2025 (9/10)
Just location, super clean and excellent communication with host made everything easy
What could be improved: Beds a little hard but that’s a personal preference. The blinds don’t cover windows properly. Big gaps at sides which lets a lot of light in from surrounding buildings . Couch uncomfortable and only big enough for 2We enjoyed our stay at the Luxury Apartments – Adrian from Australia – 18 January 2025 (8/10)
The facilities were good, beds were comfortable, close to most things in the city ,good access to trams and trains.
What could be improved: Needed more fobs to do individual activities, had to go to basement to get rid of garbage.Nice Unit in Bourke Street – Leonard from Singapore – 19 December 2024 (9/10)
place was clean and welll equipped with all the necessary equipment and supplies. good location and connectivity.
landlord was available easily when reached.
What could be improved: 1. whole unit had just one air conditioner in the hall and didn't quite help when room doors were kept closed in the night.
2. key collection and drop off location was not available at the place but a little distance away.
3. only one key was issued for the whole unit.Good – Vipin from Australia – 11 March 2025 (7/10)
What could be improved: There is no AC or fan in Either bedroom. Could be a better experience if they had one of these facilities in both rooms. Hard to sleep in a hot room.
Fabulous and highly recommend on every basis – if we were lucky to go back one day, I would have no hesitation in stayin – Henrietta from United Kingdom – 12 April 2025 (10/10)
This is a beautiful property, situated in the centre of Melbourne. So easy to get everywhere, with trams nearby. Perfect place to stay when we were seeing our daughter (first time in a year) and an old friend from NZ (although she didn’t stay in the apartment).
Perfect base.
Contact with the owners Bec, Nick and Bruno was very easy and super friendly.
