The gym’s solid too – not massive, but equipped with free weights and treadmills that actually work, plus towels that don’t feel like sandpaper. Rooms are comfy, with those plush beds and kitchenettes that come in handy for whipping up brekkie from Queen Victoria Market goodies (it’s only a 15-minute stroll north). Oh, and the Wi-Fi’s reliable, which mattered for my remote work calls – no dropouts, even during busy evenings.

All in all, if you’re after a 4-star spot that’s more than just a bed in the city, Melbourne Luxury nails it for the price – that 8.4 rating feels spot-on, I mean, it’s not flawless (the breakfast buffet could use more variety, honestly, and the elevators get jammed during checkout rushes), but it’s the little things like those skyline sunsets and the free parking that make it memorable. I’d go back in a heartbeat, especially if you’re mixing business with some laneway exploring or catching a show at the nearby theaters. Just book ahead in summer; it fills up fast with the festival crowds.

  The facilities were good, beds were comfortable, close to most things in the city ,good access to trams and trains.

  place was clean and welll equipped with all the necessary equipment and supplies. good location and connectivity.

  What could be improved: 1. whole unit had just one air conditioner in the hall and didn't quite help when room doors were kept closed in the night.
  2. key collection and drop off location was not available at the place but a little distance away.
  3. only one key was issued for the whole unit.

  This is a beautiful property, situated in the centre of Melbourne. So easy to get everywhere, with trams nearby. Perfect place to stay when we were seeing our daughter (first time in a year) and an old friend from NZ (although she didn’t stay in the apartment).
