All in all, if you’re hitting Melbourne for the arts scene – think NGV or the theaters around Federation Square, both a short walk or tram hop from here – Nook’s a smart pick. It’s got that 4-star polish without feeling pretentious, and with a 9.1 rating floating around, it’s clear others agree. I’d go back in a heartbeat, especially in spring when the jacarandas bloom along the river paths; just book early if you’re coming during the Grand Prix season, as Southbank gets buzzing. You know what? It reminded me why I love this city – that blend of urban energy and easy escapes, all wrapped up in a spot that lets you live like a local for a bit.

  An absolutely beautiful, clean and well stocked apartment. Was extremely comfortable. We had such a lovely stay. It felt very luxurious. Had everything we needed and good heating.

  Very comfortable and roomy. We were 4 colleagues attending a conference at Melbourne Convention Centre, which was an easy 15 to 20 minute walk. It was handy having Foodland opposite. The beds were very comfy and giving 3 bathrooms was very handy. Also great views across the city.
