  Room was neat and clean. Washroom was like brand new, clean and spotless. We started our morning with the bright sunlight through our windows, wow….. Staffs were friendly, polite and helpful. I always liked people who welcome their guests with a great smile, doesnt often happen nowadays, even in 5 stars hotel. Nowadays, people judge you by your looks, car, clothes, etc. But, St. George Inn was not like so, great smiling staff, David was there, at the time reception, friendly and professional.

  Perfect location for the traveller who was attending Virtual Schools Victoria to complete a SAC. Providing her with a microwave was no problem.

  Easy to get tram across the road and train into Melbourne and down to St Kilda.Staff very nice.Walking distance to Thornbury for restaurants and the Croxton pub.We always stay here when in Melbourne from Sydney.We drive down and car doesn't move until we drive home.
