First Impressions
When I first pulled up to St Kilda Style – Stunning 3 Bedroom House on Argyle Street, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from the outside — but stepping through that front door completely changed my perspective. This four-star property feels more like staying at a stylish friend’s place than a typical hotel, and I mean that in the best possible way. The whole house has this effortless Melbourne vibe that you just can’t fake, with thoughtful design touches that actually make sense rather than just looking pretty.
Location & Neighborhood
You know what’s brilliant about this spot in Melbourne? You’re right in the heart of St Kilda, which means you can walk to Acland Street’s famous cake shops in about three minutes, and the beach is literally a five-minute stroll away. I spent my mornings grabbing coffee from one of the local roasters (there are honestly too many good options to choose from) and my evenings watching the sunset over Port Phillip Bay. The parking situation is actually sorted too — having a guaranteed spot in St Kilda is like finding gold, trust me on this one.
The Space
The three-bedroom setup works brilliantly whether you’re traveling with family or friends, though couples seem to absolutely love this place based on what I observed. Each room has its own personality without feeling mismatched, and the main living area becomes this natural gathering spot where everyone ends up hanging out. The kitchen is properly equipped too — not just the bare minimum you usually get in holiday rentals, but actual quality appliances and enough space to cook a decent meal if you want to stay in for the night.
What Makes It Special
Here’s the thing that really got me — the attention to detail throughout the house feels genuine rather than staged. The furniture is comfortable enough that you’ll actually want to use it, the lighting creates this warm atmosphere in the evenings, and there’s this sense that someone who really understands Melbourne living designed this space. I found myself spending way more time just relaxing in the house than I usually do when I’m traveling, which says something about how welcoming the whole place feels.
Why Guests Love It
After staying here, I completely understand why this place consistently gets such high ratings from guests. It’s that rare combination of being in an absolutely prime location while still feeling like a proper home base rather than just somewhere to crash. The fact that recent guests rated the location so highly makes perfect sense — you’re walking distance from everything that makes St Kilda special, but you’re not dealing with the noise and chaos of being right on the main strip. Plus, having three bedrooms means you can actually spread out and live a bit, which is something you really appreciate after a few days of exploring Melbourne.

What Our Guests Say
When I first stepped inside, I was impressed by how roomy and open the house felt. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The layout was practical, with separate areas for dining, lounging, and sleeping, making it perfect for groups or families - especially whilst travelling with a new born. The host even provided a travel cot which was fab.
The house was in a good location and only a short walk from the main high-street in St Kilda. It was further from the beach than we originally thought but it was a pleasant walk. The house was also very close to shops and supermarkets.
Loved that we had access to a BBQ, just shame there wasn't an outdoor dinning table. Would have liked to have spent our evenings outside.
The beds were comfortable. The house was clean and well-maintained overall, with all the essential amenities in working order - also great that there was a washing machine.
Fantastic communication from the hosts right through from booking to checking out - thank you for letting us stay in your home!
The hosts were fantastic. They stayed in constant communication with us even before our arrival, providing all the necessary information about accessing the house and the available facilities. Whenever we needed assistance, they responded promptly.
The amenities in the house, such as the washing machine and kitchenware, made our stay comfortable and feel just like home.
The location is excellent, with tram stations just a 5-10 minute walk away.
Clean and great location!
The accommodation was perfect for our stay. Great location, it was home away from home.
Highly recommended this accommodation for your stay in Melbourne. Loved it .
The house was stunning, heaps of space and comfortable. The backyard was so nice to just sit out in the sun.
Amazing
Property was amazing.. very clean, homely and would definitely stay again.
awesome property, amazing living room area, close to chapel street and owner communicated throughout the stay
We enjoyed the space and layout of the home. The home was well stocked with the essentials the only thing that would of made it perfect was the provision of coffee pods. The off street parking was invaluable. Close to St Kilda and chapel street.
The hosts was very hospitable and were quick to respond to any issues.
Spotlessly clean, tastefully arranged and thoughtfully equipped.
