Stunning HighLevel 2br at WSP

You know, I stumbled upon the Stunning HighLevel 2br at WSP kind of by accident last summer – I was in Melbourne for a quick work trip that turned into a bit of a mini-vacation, and honestly, it ended up being one of those spots that just clicks. It’s tucked away on Spencer Street, right in the thick of things near Southern Cross Station – you can literally hear the trams rumbling by if you’re out on the balcony, which is sort of charming in that gritty urban way Melbourne does so well. I mean, arriving late at night after a delayed flight, the check-in was a breeze; no fuss with a front desk, just a key code sent to my phone, and boom, you’re up on one of those higher floors with views stretching out over the Docklands and the Yarra River glinting in the distance. The place feels more like a sleek apartment than a standard hotel room – think two bedrooms with plush king beds that actually let you sink in after a long day wandering the laneways. Oh, and the kitchenette? Stocked with decent appliances, which saved me from overpriced room service; I whipped up a quick brekkie using stuff from the Queen Victoria Market, just a short tram ride away on Elizabeth Street.
What really sold me, though – and this is coming from someone who’s stayed in a fair few Melbourne pads – is how it balances that high-end vibe without feeling stuffy. The living area has these massive floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light, and in the evenings, you’d catch the sunset turning everything golden, with the faint salty breeze from the bay sneaking in if you crack them open. It’s got all the practical bits covered too: reliable Wi-Fi that didn’t glitch during my Zoom calls, a washer-dryer combo that came in handy after I got caught in one of those sudden Melbourne downpours, and even underground parking, though fair warning, Spencer Street can get jammed during peak hour with all the commuters heading to the station. Not gonna lie, there was a bit of traffic hum at night – nothing earplugs couldn’t fix, but if you’re a light sleeper, maybe request a room facing away from the main road. The bathrooms are spotless, with those rain showerheads that make you linger a little longer, and the whole setup smells faintly of eucalyptus from the complimentary toiletries, which is a nice local touch. I spent one afternoon just lounging on the couch, sipping coffee from a nearby spot like Hardware Lane – it’s that kind of place where you feel settled, not transient.
All in all, if you’re traveling with a partner or a small group and want something that’s got that 4-star polish with a 9-out-of-10 rating that actually holds up, this is it. It’s perfect for exploring the CBD without feeling isolated – hop on a tram to Federation Square or stroll over to Marvel Stadium for a game if that’s your thing. Well, summer can get busy with tourists flocking to the area, so book ahead, but in the quieter winter months, it’s almost like having the city to yourself. I’d go back in a heartbeat; it’s not flawless, but it nails that sweet spot of comfort and convenience that makes a trip memorable.
Apartments in Melbourne suit remote workers with cowork lofts, balcony herb gardens, and fast trams to coworking hubs.

What Our Guests Say
Pleasant Location
What could be improved: Blocked shower drain. Difficultly in finding entrance and apartment
Home away from home, comfortable stay with young children Location was not bad, it was safe and beside ritz Carlton hotel so there was security . Opposite Spencer outlet centre with Cole’s was good for shopping and getting groceries. Nice view. Very clean property. Fully equipped with washer dryer TV Netflix wifi . Beds were comfortable . There was a large bathtub too! Pleasant surprise. Host was prompt in answering questions. Check in and check out was very easy. There was heating in the apartment so it was great for winter.
What could be improved: I stayed for 8days. On weekends, there will be noise from nearby entertainment , so you can hear loud heavy bass music (like clubbing music) on sat and Sunday at night. Not for fussy sleepers. On weekdays it was v peaceful. It was winter and really cold, windows couldn’t be fully sealed so we put a big shirt to cover the gaps to keep the apartment warm. Small thing though. No parking on site so had to constantly look for nearby parking 2P street side parking is best and affordable . and parking at southern cross terminal try to avoid cos it is very costly
Great apartment Great location nice apartment
What could be improved: The towels were a bit thin. It would be good to have pool towels included
