What really sold me, though, is how it feels like a home base for real Melbourne adventures. You’re only 15 minutes from the airport, so jet lag recovery is easy, and hopping on the train from Glenroy station gets you to the city in under half an hour – think Queen Vic Market for fresh produce or a quick tram to the MCG for footy season. Locally, there’s this great little bakery on Wheatsheaf Road for meat pies that rival anything in the laneways, and if you’re into nature, the Merri Creek trail is a short drive for a morning jog.   From the outside it looks like a regular suburban home . Open the door and you are in a beautifully renovated home with all the facilities you could need. 4 bedrooms and an office . The little touches Helen put into the home were well appreciated. Coffee beans for the coffee machine hit the mark.
