    Location was great. I had my own reasons for being in Melbourne so really only showered, slept and left at 7 am.For me, the building had good vibe. The staff were very welcoming and spent the time introducing me to the different facilities but as stay was so brief don't have a lot to say.

    I enjoyed the location as it was nice and quiet and close enough walk to everything, including transit.

    I think I saw one or two reviews complain that the hostel didn’t have enough things to do as far as social nights or what have you. That building (beautiful by itself) was not built to be a hostel and there’s not much room for those kinds of events based on that alone. Not a complaint whatsoever, just my observation.
