The Crown Casino complex is close enough if that’s your thing, but far enough away that you won’t deal with the crowds unless you want to. What I really appreciated was the free private parking — you know how rare that is in this part of town, right? Most places charge you an arm and a leg just to park overnight.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in had those floor-to-ceiling windows that Melbourne hotels do so well, and the Yarra River views were actually worth the name on the building.
