Check-in was a breeze, actually; the staff were these laid-back Melburnians who handed over the keycard with a chat about the best coffee spots nearby (pro tip: try the flat white at that little joint on Domain Road, it’s leagues better than the chains). I mean, no fuss, no long lines, even though I arrived smack in the middle of peak hour when everyone’s commuting back from the CBD.
