WSP luxury 2b2b apartment in CBD with free parking
You know, I stumbled upon the WSP luxury 2b2b apartment on Spencer Street during a quick trip to Melbourne last spring, and honestly, it was one of those spots that just clicks when you're navigating the CBD chaos.
You know, I stumbled upon the WSP luxury 2b2b apartment on Spencer Street during a quick trip to Melbourne last spring, and honestly, it was one of those spots that just clicks when you’re navigating the CBD chaos. Pulling up to 250 Spencer – right there smack in the middle of that buzzing stretch between Southern Cross Station and the edge of Docklands – I remember thinking, thank goodness for the free parking; it’s a godsend in this part of town where spots vanish faster than a flat white at a laneway cafe. The building itself has that sleek, modern vibe – think glass facades and keyless entry that actually works without fumbling for ages – and check-in was a breeze, just a quick code from the host via app, no waiting around in some stuffy lobby. I mean, after dodging the trams rattling down Spencer and the lunchtime crowds spilling out from nearby offices, stepping into the apartment felt like exhaling – spacious living area with those big windows letting in the afternoon light, overlooking the Yarra glimpses if you’re on a higher floor.
What really sets this place apart, though – and I’ve stayed in a few CBD pads over the years – is how it nails that home-away-from-home feel without skimping on the luxury bits. The two bedrooms are generous, with plush queen beds that actually sink in just right (none of that rock-hard mattress nonsense you sometimes get in budget spots), and the two bathrooms mean no morning queues, which is clutch if you’re traveling with mates or family. The kitchen’s fully kitted out – I whipped up a brekkie using fresh produce from Queen Victoria Market, just a 10-minute stroll up Elizabeth Street – and there’s even a washer-dryer combo that saved me from overpacking. Well, sort of; I still ended up with coffee stains on my shirt from that little espresso machine they provide. Noise-wise, it’s surprisingly quiet at night despite the location – the double-glazed windows block out most of the street hum, though you might hear the occasional tram bell if you’re a light sleeper. And let’s not forget the balcony; sipping a local craft beer out there as the sun sets over the city skyline, with the faint salty breeze from the bay drifting in – that’s the kind of Melbourne magic you don’t get in a standard hotel room. Oh, and free Wi-Fi that’s actually speedy, not the sluggish kind that makes streaming a nightmare.
All in all, if you’re hitting Melbourne for a mix of work and play – say, catching a show at the nearby arts precinct or wandering over to Collins Street for some upscale shopping – this 4-star gem with its 9.1 rating is worth every penny. It’s not the cheapest option around (expect to pay a bit more during peak events like the Grand Prix season when the CBD turns into a zoo), but the value shines through in those thoughtful touches, like the complimentary parking that lets you explore without the parking fine paranoia. I’ve recommended it to friends heading down under, and yeah, I’d book it again in a heartbeat – just maybe avoid the lower floors if you want to dodge any construction vibes from ongoing builds in the area.

Location
Clean, spacious apartment on the 55th floor with amazing views! Walking distance from the Skybus terminal. Excellent communication with the owner who rectified the problem with the "drilling" noise coming from the front door saying all we had to do was open and close the door hard to stop it.
The location was very convenient and had amazing views!
